How to prepare for a QHHT Session

- The amount of time spent with each person is at least 6 to 8 hours which includes the interview, session and post-session talk.
- No one else is allowed to be present during the entire session for the benefit of the person. If you come with your spouse or close friends, they will have to find something else to be occupied.
- It is strongly advised not to take alcohol at least 24 hours before the session in order to obtain all the necessary information.
- It is advised not to have beverages with caffeine content from the morning of the session day.

Having a regression is very much like participating in a long, very detailed and involved daydream. You really will feel as if you have just returned from an amazing journey, having visited other worlds and lifetimes, and in fact, you will have done just exactly that. It is best to have some time to process your experience and give yourself an opportunity to fully return to your regular conscious day-to-day reality before attempting any complex mental tasks or strenuous physical activity.​

Try to pay attention to your dreams before our appointment. Write them down, they are messages for you and can help me help you in our session. If you do not already meditate its a good time to start. At the very least, give yourself daily quiet time to quell your mind chatter.​

Here is an easy technique to help you in preparation for your hypnosis session:

Sit or lay relaxed, taking a few slow deep breaths, then with your eyes closed imagine a blank screen.
Imagine your chosen destination on the screen and hold it there in place without force or deep concentration, more like just observing with a detached mindset.
See what perceptions come to mind, and watch the image as it changes and more information develops, you notice more, see more colors, or become aware of smells or sounds. Use all of your senses, smell, sound, visuals, touch, sounds, taste, etc. and then move yourself into the scene and explore it, as you move around in it.
You will begin to notice how the scene comes to life and with a bit of practice you will find you can move around at will. Perhaps you can begin with just letting your imagination explore areas in the house or a familiar location that brings good feelings to mind.
Effectively this is a superb way to prepare the subconscious mind for exploration into your soul history as it will locate the appropriate images to help you now in this life.

1.Be open and expect to receive your requests or get the answers that you require for your healing. There is unlimited potential within us and through relaxation we connect very readily with this.
2. If your vision or hearing is not very clear that you can and will receive an enhancement of perceptions......
3. It is important to be completely open to any 'response', 'message', 'images', 'ideas' ,etc. no matter how you receive it. This could be represented by a 'wise' being, an animal of some sort, a book of knowledge or just as a spontaneous thought.
4. Allow the information to flow without attempting to mentally engage or edit the content. Just say out loud the first thing you're aware of. These insights may not make immediate sense when they occur. Just play with me and allow whatever comes forward to be there without judgement or doubt. 
5. Exploration of our inner self takes us beyond our physical reality and time and space as we know it does not exist as we usually experience it, which means we can experience different timelines, such as past, present or future.
6. We all posses the divine ability to explore our souls history and resolve any conflicts and also experience our spiritual essence which can and does initiate immediate and lasting benefits.

It is important to know within hypnosis, there can be fluidity in the level of trance, and various depths of trance, one of the deeper states being somnambulism.  And as for, being totally put out and not remembering a single thing,  Julia Cannon, Dolores' daughter, has assured us that she herself does not go into the somnambulism state, and that she remains aware.  
When Dolores uses the word somnambulism, it is because the person really feels as if they are in the scene - they feel the emotions, see the sights, smell the smells, etc.  They may or may not remember these details when they emerge from trance, or even remember snippets here and there - whilst some remember many months later.
You will want to prepare a list of questions and concerns. As your facilitator I ask that you actually write this list down on paper and hand it to me at our appointment. For an even better experience, please email me your questions before your appointment. Of course we can modify them when its time for your session.
​Please neatly hand write the list or print it out on the computer so that I might easily read your questions during the session. Also put these questions and concerns in order of importance to you as we may not be able to address them all. I have had many clients bring a single question or issue of concern to the session, and some who bring dozens. It really does not matter how many you come up with, only that you put them in order of importance.
What kind of questions? The general rule is to ask personal questions or keep topics related to your personal life. But you can ask anything you want.

Here are a few examples.​

    I have had Asthma since birth. Why? Can it be healed?
    I am in a new  love relationship. Is this person the right one for me?
    I really dislike my job and would like to quit and find a new one. Should I?
    I have a difficult relationship with my sister. Why is this so and can it be resolved?
    Many years ago I had something strange happen to me. (This could be a dream, vision, feeling, or experience) What exactly happened, and why?
    I have a lifelong interest in (name ANY subject) can we explore this in depth?
    Am I on my right spiritual path?
    Can I meet my spirit guide or guardian angel?
    Can I improve my intuitive or psychic skills? How?
    How can I create more peace or balance or abundance in my life?​

As your facilitator I have my own prepared list of “standard” questions I can ask if you are focused upon only one or two issues, so don’t worry if you have a short list. 

Don’t drink alcoholic or caffeinated beverages before the session, or even, the evening before, if possible. If you are a regular morning coffee drinker, please don’t skip your coffee, but go easy and keep it to a minimum before your session.​
Light exercise prior to your appointment, like a long walk, is an excellent way to prepare for a successful session. This is another good time to repeat your intention. We want your body relaxed, but your mind quiet and alert and engaged.​
As much as possible, clear your day for the session.

We begin by going over the process and your questions. Then you get comfortable and relaxed and we begin the actual hypnotic regression. Afterwards, we go over what was experienced and I make sure you are awake and grounded. This entire process can take anywhere from 6 to 8 hours total, and occasionally even a little bit longer. ​
It is generally not a good idea to have additional appointments after your regression, or activities that require a great deal of concentration. You should take it easy.
Listening to your session in the days and weeks and even months ahead is an important part of the experience of a Cannon Method Regression. Even if your conscious mind remembers the session immediately afterwards, it can, just as some dreams can, begin to fade from your memory, even if you had an “unforgettable” experience!
Also any healing or life improvement suggestions can and will be reinforced by listening repeatedly to the audio. The goal is to have your conscious mind “get on board” and align with your Higher Self and its goals, and accept any changes or healing you intend to occur.​
